Import from CSV to wordpress

I just thought I would post this that I recently had to import a bunch of Csv data into wordpress, and had a little trouble. I wanted to use a plugin rather then trying to do it through phpmyadmin. I tried 3 or 4 plugins before I found this one which worked http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/csv-importer/ . Maybe some of it was user error, but it was really big a waste of time downloading and installing things that didn’t work , so hopefully this post will save someone some time.
