Is wordpress purging themes again?

I got an email yesterday that said

Links to e-themes.info will no longer be approved, as a result your themes are being suspended from the Theme Directory.

I often have themes denied for various reasons, which sometimes I disagree with, but in all those cases there was usually a reason given.

My themes are still on the site but apparently suspended. At first I thought I had ran foul of some new rule. The people from wordpress seem to like a lot of rules. After checking the site it appears that I might not be the only one. The number of themes on the site is down to 512, over 50 themes have disappeared of the site since this morning. Mabye hundreds disappeared since yesterday.

Since the email gave no indictation of what the new rules might be, I checked on this page http://wordpress.org/extend/themes/about/, and noticed this line

Themes for sites that support “premium” themes will not be approved.

I don’t remember if that was there before, but it looks new. Although its not really clear I am taking that is that your author’s site cannot sell themes?

Well still waiting for an answer back on what the suspension is for.

This free wordpress theme shows stunning landscape photography depicting a mountain in the background and green hills in the middle ground, with pine trees surrounding a calm lake in the foreground. There is a bright blue sky with fluffy white clouds framing the top.

Colors of the worpress theme are taken from the green hills and darker greens of the shadows on the mountains and lake. Forest green is the main color. The blog floats on the photograph, so the title sits right in the trees. The blog posts are set on light gray with gray title bars, making it easy to read. The sidebar elements float on the photograph, making more of the lake visible down the sides of the blog. Sidebar headers are forest green and nicely beveled.

Military WordPress Theme

This free military wordpress theme shows three soldiers in the foreground, facing a Blackhawk helicopter in the background. You see only their backs and the weapons they are carrying. They stand on desert floor with palms in the background, framing the blackhawk. The color scheme is taken from the desert, palm and camo uniforms of the soldiers. The frame of the blog theme is grays and browns, much like the army camo colors the soldiers are wearing. The forum content area is dark font set against a sand-colored background, and sections of the theme are all placed on a black board, for a dark frame of the blog.
